Below are a cross-section of projects completed by myself and my teams over the course of my career. My work has covered a broad range of customer touch points (product, software, etc), in many cases multiple touch points within the same project or company.

 

Unisys
Design and development of marketing communication piece for exhibition at Comdex, showcasing the future of Web application interfaces and database engines.

Apply customer-centered methods and processes in the evaluation of business models, markets, competitors and customers in business-to-customer and customer-to-customer start up companies. Outcomes ranged from aggressive pursuit of business to investor shutdown of early stage business.

Design and development of customizable Web application allowing EnnisKnupp's large institutional investors to manage and monitor their investment programs.

Webley
Web site redesign and co-branding strategy for Webley, a message management company that compartmentalized fax, phone, cell, email, RIM, etc. Interviewed users on messaging and communication methods and surveyed early adopters. Also completed customer experience audit and competitive analysis.

Experience Audit and strategy definition for soho through enterprise printer lines resulting in simplified features and functions, and integration of desktop software, Web-based applications and product interfaces.

Inventoried and segmented Intel's 37 software applications. Developed brand driven user interface guidelines for each of 3 segments (Consumer, Biz/Enterprise, and Technical).

 Bank One (First Chicago NBD)
Designed remote expert touch screen kiosk allowing banking customers to access centralized mortgage and brokerage experts from any branch location.

Evaluate and integrate existing legacy dealer software applications and design new applications to create a browser based shell application meeting the needs of parts, service, sales, inventory, management and more across all North American dealerships.

Designed first handheld icon driven touch screen remote to manage 100 plus digital satellite stations.

 NCR
Designed multimedia personal workstation (advanced concept), which utilized advanced LCD display technology to facilitate a removable Display/Notebook computer. Other features included reduced footprint and convection cooling system.

 Digital Equipment Corporation
Designed and prototyped personal computers, peripherals and mainframes. Also designed several advanced show concepts for Comdex and other trade shows.
