Who Needs a Browser?
A new Mac program called Watson simplifies finding information on the Internet. It pulls data from multiple websites and strips out the ads and graphics to present only the information you want in a clear, concise format. The way it gathers information from other websites and software programs is a precursor to the XML-based “Web services” proposed by Microsoft, IBM and Sun.
