Loop Number 4: 2001 Annual of Student Projects
Loop’s last issue of 2001 features snapshots of 18 projects carried out by students over the past two years. Included are project descriptions, screen shots and prototypes that focus not just on results, but also on the educational context in which these interactive projects were created. Projects from Illinois Institute of Technology, The Ohio State University, Art Center College of Design, Carnegie Mellon University, University of Oklahoma, North Carolina State University, Fachhochschule Munich, Auburn University, Maryland Institute College of Art, University of Illinois at Chicago, The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University, California Institute of the Arts, Virginia Commonwealth University, and School of Visual Arts are represented.
In addition, Melissa Niederhelman reviews the fourth Advance for Design Summit held in July of 2001 by AIGA’s Experience Design community of interest.
Loop: AIGA Journal of Interaction Design Education is an interactive, web-based journal providing a forum for presenting research that illuminates and advances understanding of the relationship between practice and pedagogy in the emerging discipline of interaction and visual interface design.
Loop is co-sponsored by AIGA, American Institute of Graphic Arts and Virginia Commonwealth University’s Center for Design Studies.
